At this point I’m more crumpling than crumbling honestly.
So I’ve not just been stocking up on cakes, I’ve bought plenty of other souvenirs for people. Today’s reading is commenting that I might feel silly about it or even guilty for the expense, but gifting things is in my nature and makes me happy so I shouldn’t feel that way.

As alluded to, the physical exertion of the trip is catching up with me. I’ve been feeling the muscle cramps pile up more and more.
This isn’t all that bad though. Consider that last time I was able to do this and tire myself like this was in August of last year. I feel refreshed in a very masochistic way.
But anyway, with everything packed up I just showered, dressed up, aaaaaaand there’s clothes and stuff I didn’t pack up apparently.
For now, I’ll just drag everything downstairs, checkout, and go to the post office.

It was all effortless, the only “problem” would be that one of the bags would arrive later because it had my camera so couldn’t be transported by plane due to the battery.
After that I bought a box and shoved everything else that was left outside when everything was said and done.

Now I had time on my hands… lots of time. While eating some sushi the idea came up of hey let’s just go to Sapporo and find a Karaoke.
What fateful choice.

The lines basically collapsed due to snow. I could wait in the train until it eventually made it to Sapporo, but I was already set to be stuck in the sea in a different metal can, I wasn’t in the mood to start early.

First I took a bus to Teine station, there the trains were also stuck. So I took a cab that remarkably smelled of… not coffee but coffee candy.

Once in Sapporo I grabbed… okay this was more like late lunch but still.
I faffed about, explored some streets and when it turned to like almost 6pm I went to a Jankara near the station.
Turns out between Karaoke’s usual bad audio and me running all day I didn’t have much of a voice left so I wrapped early and went to the station and… damn the trains still out of service.

You need to understand: Japan already fixes things shockingly fast, especially when it comes to tapestry, so for lines to basically collapse for the day like that is done next level shit.
I took a cab, it was pricey but I just wanted to get a move on honestly.
I arrived at the terminal about 2 hours early but they passed relatively fast since I wasn’t fighting sleepiness like last time.
It would’ve been nice if the lobby wasn’t chilly though, just saying.

I forgot to mention it last time, but the path to the ferry on Otaru’s side is long as hell.
I didn’t immediately go to to sleep though, I wanted to get the wifi early and set myself up proper instead of just collapsing on the spot.

There’s one more day of trip ahead so better take it easy.
