Today’s deck is the Trionfi della Luna Tarot.
It’s a very unique deck, best way I can describe it is that it has whatever evergy the creepy moon emoji has and uses it for everything. Very cool.
The “Illustrated pips edition” part is extra cool because it basically means they gave all the minor arcana individual illustrations.
Today’s reading is saying that things might feel too abrupt and exhausting but I must persevere.
This is a universal sentiment, but it’s probably refering to me making the house apt for having people over.
Miracle of miracles, the humidifier helped me wake up with a throat that wasn’t murdering me from the inside.
A new filter arrived in the mail and admittedly it was too small, but it was a 2-pack so I just ripped the difference.

No wonder the room smelled funny when it ran dry.
This is the post for the 8th of October and I’m tempted to just take it as October 9th, but I’d rather wait a bit more before deleting a whole day. Maybe if I wake up at 10PM, but I still woke up at 7PM.

It’s one of those “comic a day” ones. Japan sure loves themselves some Snoopy, lemme tell you. Only thing they love as much as Tom and Jerry. The bitch orange cat has no place here.
Speaking of that topic in general, I think I’ve mentioned it before, but one of my goals in getting to draw is basically to make small newspaper-like comics, which is a goal I’ve had… all my life, really.
I’ve thought about it a lot, and I feel like the ideal would be some sort of specific sweet spot between usual cute anime girl and simplified drawing. There’s plenty of examples I cna think of and the key will be simple but recognizable shapes.
Even beyond the creative “I wanna do this” part, there’s a very specific practical element. I know better than to take all parts of production of a thing unto myself, but I feel like having the most basic of sketching skills would allow me to convey ideas when they become very VERY specific way easier to whoever is in charge of actually illustrating things.
Honestly the only reason I haven’t dug into that more is… lack of time to sit down in peace, really.
Did I mention I bought a PS5 and have barely used it? ’cause I bought a PS5 and have barely used it.
Like I mentioned I’ve been focused on making my place Not Be A Trap and it’s going at a nice pace. I worry and feel overwhelmed, but in the end it’ll be fine.
