Today’s reading feels in line with the general “it’s not fair” undercurrent of the past few days, but instead going “yeah, responsabilities are a bitch, but you deserve reprieve after or BECAUSE of it”.
Again, play hard party hard.
Something I haven’t mentioned is that the Reideen posterjust kept falling over and over again, just yesterday it fell like FIVE times, so I was growing increasingly annoyed about it.
Then the Comic Party one fell after being the only one to NOT fall and I realized that maybe there was more to it than I thought.
So I decided to do something hadn’t until now: Read the instructions.
I mean, why would I? It’s just putting a sticker on a wall, it’s not rocket science.
Well…
Turns out you gotta press the hook against the white adhesive for 30 seconds and THEN leave the sticker proper undisturbed for an hour.
My apologies to NASA, I guess.
I decided to go to Nipponbashi to pick up some stuff but I forgot to bring a couple of things so I decided to just have lunch and go to Japanese lesson.
After that and me returning home, I actually made an interesting discovery/realization.
Basically, after I got back, hyperfocus kicked in and I was looking up some information, even going to the internet archive to scour for it. After like an hour or so of indulging into it all, the hyperfocus wears off a bit and I realize I feel… relaxed?
So it turns out that one of the reasons why I’ve been feeling so mentally drained lately is that I keep pushing against the ADHD and I end up in the annoying stalemate of not having the mental energy to finish work stuff in a timely manner because I’ve been pulling the chain for hours to get the annoying work stuff done.
But for a nice hour and a half or so I briefly forgot about this and just let the whims of the Unfocused Demon take the wheel and I felt slightly more relieved than in the last few days.
Definitely worth keeping in mind.
I need to set aside a weekend to go full Goblin Mode.
Maybe not THIS weekend, but A weekend.
