Sidewalk Backspace

Today’s deck is the Global Fusion Intuitive Tarot.

It’s… intense, is the best way I can describe it. it also has a curious thing where the aces are represented with an omega symbol.

Today’s reading… hit on something I cannot talk about here but rest assured it got me one of those “damn, the cards do be hittin’ close to home” moments.

I woke up kinda tired, not the usual extreme “I’m gonna crumble” sort of deal but still kinda… bleh, kinda wanting to stay at home.

But Street Festa, I’ve wanted to at least check it ever since I moved and this time there were no other appointments and I remembered.

I did decide to not go to the doll meetup of today though, just to cut on the pressure I put on myself and whatnot.

It was a sun blastin’ sort of day, summer is definitely rearing its head. That in combination with the general heavy traffic of people had me second guessing myself but I pushed ahead regardless.

Then I make it to Nipponbashi and there were crowds of people which, you know, expected. I’m not gonna bitch about going to the grocery store and finding groceries.

I took a couple of pics…. and the battery on my camera died.

This is the point where I decided the vibes were wrong today so I headed back home.

I had a proverbial consolation prize waiting for me back home, though. Kuroneko Kissaten released a new game. It didn’t eat the rest of my afternoon but it was neat! I even wrote a whole thing about it.

With the sun blasting less, I did a quick roundtrip to Yodobashi Camera for kicks. They actually installed one of those “print your own phone case” stations. It’s… fine for the price and the format. The quality of the printing is good, my ownly complaint is that the sticker applied to it had the smallest of wrinkles but at that point I’m splitting hairs.

On the way back I bought a fly trap thingy, though.

I haven’t cooked at home for a while, but I also by extension, forgot to change the trap that catches things that fall on the kitchen sink, so I’m guessing a bunch of leftover bits were the perfect spot for a bunch of… they’re those teeny tiny flies? There weren’t many but I’d rather them not be there.

So I set up the thing and went to bed.
