Today’s deck is the Victorian Fairy Faery Tarot.
Really good, lots of care put into it. Only annoyance is that it switches suits for seasons so you gotta get used to it.
Today’s reading is a simple bit of wisdom: “You might think heartbreak is the end, it’s only the end of pain and the beginning of something new”.
First thing I did was try to fax the damn papers I’ve been trying to send for way too long now, so I go to a Seven Eleven, make sure I’m scanning them instead of just re-scanning the same paper over and over…
Then I decide to pay and the machine in Seven Eleven only takes coins GOOD TRY EVERYBODY LET’S TRY AGAIN TOMORROW.
Later in the day I gotta go out and get my passport from the Spain Consulate and I can only think about four things:
- Why must I endure fucking rush hour in such a pretty day.
- Man it’s such a pretty day.
- It’s funny how this is rush hour but Tokyo is just Like This 24/7.
- MAN it’s such a pretty day…………..
The Consulate is in the Suntory Building, I basically walked a whole circle around the block before realizing where the building was.
I was kinda expecting to need to take an elevator but the guard was like “Spain?” and told me to wait.
Basically, instead of going to an office, an Ojii-san came down and gave me my passport.
I wanted to go out and take photos and whatnot but I didn’t have my camera and I had pending matters so I returned grumbling.
After slight prep and some more adulting done, I went out and decided to take the… LONG scenic route back and I went to the riverside spot I went with E to a while back.
And so I treated myself properly by taking Poppy with me for these pics. I actually wanted to take these back in February when I was in Hokkaido, but the chance just didn’t arise properly.
By the way, that outfit actually came with a bra specific for that top and as you can see I went “bah” about it.
I returned and I had to call my card company to do a follow up on the whole thing since it’s been a whole week on the clock… they told me this specific issue might be solved by the start of next week.
At least it’s not that my cards are blocked, it’s just a system snafu… somehow.
By the way, the wanted posters in the station indicated that they had caught TWO of the people and that was… surprising, at least to me.
