Today’s deck is the Influence of the Angels Tarot.

I wondered if maybe this was one of those where they edit existing royalty free things for the theme an oh would you look at that.

I’ve done way too much research into the Romantic movement to recognize Wanderer Above The Sea of Fog by Caspar David Friedrich IN MY SLEEP.
At least it’s not like the Charles Dickens one I used ages ago that used Miranda en la Carraca but then pretended he was some dude from A Tale of Two Cities.
Today’s reading is encouraging me to make the investmensts I’ve been itching to make. Or well, it’s after the fact so I guess it’s a reasurance. I bought a new PC exclusively for work and also a vacuum cleaner for the office while at it.

Boy I’m feeling better! [loud and violent coughing].
I mean it’s normal for my body to need to expel all the bullshit that piled up while convalescent, but the orony of moving from one kind of cough to another isn’t lost on me.
I started the day sorting things around the house… and I’m adult enough to admit that it was in big part from not knowing where I left my personal stamp.
For those that don’t know, stamps or hanko (relief stamps you dip in often red ink) are the main way to sign things in Japan, both on a personal and company level (especially the latter one). I actually only need my personal hanko once in a blue moon for very specific government-level stuff so it’s always in a mysterious spot.

Losing it wouldn’t be the end of the world, they’re easy to make and also if you have a Japanese name they tend to sell ones with the most common names anyways, but if I couldn’t find it that would’ve been an extra step and… I don’t need that in my life right now.
I did find it though, and I cleared up the kitchen counter in the process!
So I headed out afterwards to the municipality. The process was simple, I sign some papers and they create a copy in system where it’s like “we verify that this hanko belongs to this individual”. Curiously they had on a note how the hanko is in katakana.
As it’s often the case I spent more time waiting for them to hand me the paper than anything else.
I spent the rest of the day kinda chillin’ around. One of my classes in DQ Walk was LVL69 so I spent a good hour or so tapping monsters at home to push it to LVL70.

The grind to unlock all the T3 classes is going pretty well, methinks. The funny part will be later when I go back to T2 to get the last few permanent bonuses.
