Today’s deck is the V Tarot.

I assume that V stands for Vampire and not Venom Snake.
Today’s reading advices to not overthink too hard the conflicts ahead, that things have changed. Very welcome reassurance as usual.

I’ve continued to clear up the mess from the toppled shelf. Admittedly the room was already a mess so in a way this whole situation forced me to clear things up further.
Still don’t appreciate it being put through all this, though.
There was reassurance when I saw that a crystal ball with a dragon I got ages ago was still intact. If that survived then I’m sure the rest of the stuff is just fine.
It’s also the second day with no meds and the most immediate difference I feel is that there’s more struggle in pushing away things like intrusive thoughts and the like. I was already aware of them being there, they’re never truly gone, but noisier head means there’s more of an effort dealing with them.
Right now I’m fine in the sense that I’ve learned to cope with stress and whatnot, but it really makes a lot of sense how and why the lack of meds for 27 years of my life ate at me as much as it did.
So in short I’m still fine but if I could get my meds refilled that would be welcome and appreciated.

I decided to go to Evil today. Partly from feeling social, partly from wanting to celebrate the bank stuff being done, and partly because I’m finally off antibiotics so I can get booze safely.
The day was kinda slow. There was a collection of anime openings playing and I showed the bartender the ones that had a latin american dub. Also explaining the concept of the weird TV-only region-neutral “dub spanish”.
Then suddenly around 1AM a LOT of college-age kids come in and things got livelier. They were pleasant enough and kept to themselves but the issue is that college kids are broke and so ordering becomes a more… wishy washy sort of affair. Then a second wave of them dropped in (I believe they knew each other) and the very small bar was about to burst.
I left after they left (I was being a bit of an ad-hoc translator) and got back home… not drunk, but I wouldn’t ride a bicycle like that.

Fun day on the whole. Very welcome change of pace.
