Today’s deck is La Carte Del Tarocchi
The name means… uh… The Tarot Card. It’s a deck meant to look like a throwback to the Marseilles Tarot, The Fool looks a bit like a wojack also.
Today’s reading is fun because it’s telling me to look around and appreciate the life I’ve been carving, which is a nice reminder every so often to not get lost in The Grind.
Another Friday, the usual routine.
According to the posting date I finished another Uma Musume post this day but I can’t remember the timeline of events properly which goes to show you how much things are blending lately.
Anyway, graduation or not I went back to the bar as I’ve done every week for a while. I talked about the hiking day I had and I also introduced a Japanese girl to the saying that “the best dog is your friend’s dog”. She immediately got it but the cast member with a dog didn’t immediately get the joke insisting her dog was the best dog.
The cast was kinda thin, by which I mean there were only two people behind the counter, but the actual people sitting by the counter was also kinda sparse.
Then I was reminded that Obon is next week.
I will need to recosider my plans for next week.
Obon is one of the big Japan holidays, this one is special because it’s essentially the Universal Summer Vacation. I hate crowds so remembering Obon looms in the distance made me rethink any random plans I had next week. Notably to work during Obon and go out or whatever earlier in the week.
Also at one point they put historic races on the TV and I was like “I know that one!” “Oh I know that one!” “Oh! That one’s good!”.
A game I was looking forward to also came out today, but I’ll talk about it tomorrow.
