This packaging is evil and I hope its designer is having a good day

Today’s deck is Sakura Spring Ver. 2.

I remember using a summer one ages ago, so I assume it’s part of the same series.

Also, it says 80 cards which means….

Okay it IS a manufacturer in-joke, that’s cool.

The eve of trips always has the dichotomy inside of me of “I’d like to share this with someone” and “I have a lot of fun on my own, actually” flare up so today’s reading feels like a reflection of that by saying that sometimes one does need that time alone.

Well, today became a bit of a marathon…

Needed to sign some stuff but the stamp was at the office, then turns out I needed a DIFFERENT company registry thingy. So after early day stuff and bracing myself I headed out.

First to the office, I sign a couple of papers and then out I go to the post office and then to the public registry.

I get the paper I need and then I had to rush to Japanese lesson, but not before stopping by a conbini and scanning the document. God bless past Fer needing to do an even sillier sudden run to a conbini mid-trip because it meant I had the app that famima uses when you want to scan documents and save them without a thumbstick drive and such.

Japanese lesson happens and then, AND THEN… I can finally unwind at bar.

Today was fun because I did some tarot reading in-situ with the lunalapin deck. For those not aware: That’s the first deck I used on this blog and that I still carry around.

After the weekly round of socialization and practice I returned home and went to bed thinking that hey, maybe I can sleep until the trip happens…

…then I woke up thirsty, and hungry, and with a bit of a headache.

You know, ever since I drank enough to not remember anything, I’ve not gotten to the point where my face feels numb. I’m either pacing myself better or the way my body goes through alcohol changed. It’s not like I don’t feel the buzz I just feel… different, I guess.

Sleep eventually came back to me but I’m starting to suspect that “head out to the road while sleep-deprived” IS part of the trip experience by now.
