Toy Poodle PUTA

Today’s deck is the Starlight Tarot Blue Edition.

You know, I always preferred Blastoise in Gen 1. I’ve never gotten the appeal of dragons or dinosaurs so the idea of a cool turtle with cannons on its back sounded just amazing.

In hindsight, you can tell I was more primed to like Digimon where sure they have dinosaurs but the dinosaur has metal claws and a metal helmet and metallic wings for no reason.

The deck? The deck is fine enough, I wonder if “Blue Edition” means there’s one where the main color of the composition is a different one.

Today’s reading comments that all the things getting in the way of my own independence will balance themselves out swiftly.

I sure hope so.

There was the briefest of earthquakes in the morning, like magnitude 3 or something. I’ve mentioned I’ve been having dizzy spells and they’re not fully gone so sometimes I THINK the ground is shaking and it’s not, but this time some stuff hanging on the kitchen swayed a little meaning there was actual movement.

The day was mostly uneventful. I was still low energy so I didn’t go out like I’ve said all these days I wanted to but I remained around to sort some things and unpack other things.

Cut to the afternoon when I’m trying again to contact my bank. After a message and a half I finally got them to answer. Turns out they’re closing so many accounts that the process got a bit delayed but it’s gonna happen.

With not much else to do I actually ended up putting pen to paper and did something.

It’s a very unserious page, just getting the gears turning about drawing and such. One problem I have is that I love analyzing and breaking down how things are structured, be it a book, an illustration, or even a joke. And I was compelled to get into that but I wanted to actually draw something instead of being stuck in Da Theory Zone forever.

I guess that kinda opened my apetite because I then did this.

I did unpack the prismacolor tin I mentioned and raved about yesterday.

It made me want to do something more deliberate with the color coordination and such, but by the time I finished it was 4AM.
