Honestly didn’t expect this one to be so good (not for anything bad, just a lack of expectation at all) but damn if it isn’t. Into regular rotation it goes.
Today’s reading advices that cynicism is best fought with passion for your craft and making things. Which is a good reminder to be honest.
So the day starts and I’m asked to do the “online certification” or whatever the fuck for my bank. This was the last step that kept getting delayed for some reason because they blocked my account due to it being a non-european phone number.
Turns out the “digital certification” is the shit I do here where they’re like “take a photo of yourself, turn to the right, take a photo of your visa” and so forth. It doesn’t answer why they’d need that after I had a fucking attorney verify it but whatever.
The real thing today was being requested documents for my visa.
Now, in past years this would’ve derailed me and I would’ve gone into full panic mode. This year meanwhile… I’m admittedly still ruffled but my brain was more stuck in “let’s get this over with” than its usual “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA” when it comes to that topic.
And a lot of it has to do with not needing to fill in those damn papers, I just gather all the documents requested. I did a whole lot of that and went out.
You see, I have this idea for a new doll, she would be Sol and Luna‘s mom, but the sort of super youthful mom that passes more as a sister. I have the concept, I even picked her head but I need a body and for body I have in mind DDP. Basically the smallest body not proportioned in a chibi-esque like MDD. This would make the doll small, but still taller than Luna and Sol.
Yesterday my walk took me to Nipponbashi and they very specifically didn’t have DDP Semi-white, but they had a single DDP Normal color. I figured hey, I’ll go to the Kobe showroom later and see there. I did see in the process that they were gonna start selling the new stuff they announced on Saturday so that’s one more plan in the docket.
So as a reward from me to me for the Visa stuff I head to the Kobe showroom and… they don’t have the body there ether.
This is odd because DDP isn’t exactly the most popular body, when people look for small bodies they tend to go for MDD first. But there I was checking online on the way back and even online it was sold out.
At this point curiosity is gnawing at me and if not because I’ve got some extra adulting to do I would’ve gone from Kobe to Kyoto (it’s the same train). and you can tell fixation (not yet hyper, mind you) kicked in because I’m even considering going to Kyoto.
To be fair, it’s not even about purchasing it, I’m just REALLY curious.
Oh also, if any of you remember me talking last week about some insurance penalty that I had to pay and had to call them to send me. That shit finally arrived, and you wanna know how much it is? Wanna know the outrageous amount that makes them threaten to repossess things in order to solve the debts?
