Today’s deck is the Magical Nordic Tarot.

How do I say this without sounding mean… A while back I tried a different Norse-themed deck that was shockingly one that went deeper into Norse culture than I expected. I think I said something about how I expected surface-level references and got more than that… this deck is what I thought the other would be.
Not that it’s awful, but… yeah.
Today’s reading has portents of an abundance born out of hard work and patience.

Today’s Warham order was battletomes, nothing too crazy. The real purchase I was looking forward to today was that they released new clothes at Volks. SPECIFICALLY they were releasing a sports bra that I NEEDED.
So you better believe that I headed straight to the shop to get that… right after I showered, and had a light meal, and faffed about for a bit. I almost put on makeup before deciding that nah didn’t feel like it today.
Usually when new clothes release they tend to fly away from the shelves so while I was worried, I was low-key resigned that I wouldn’t be able to get them.
To my delight, I DID get them, and a bunch of other releases I didn’t see because of tunnel vision. There’s also gonna be a photo event on the 23rd which is neat.

I’m probably not taking pics until next week because the weather is gonna be a bit ass until like… Thursday at least, but still, I can prepare the Girls and whatnot.
By the way, today’s original plan was to go to Shitennoji Temple, but between weather and waking up time, we ended up not doing that.
Plan today was to go to the Evil Mix Bar again, so we all killed time for a while until 7PM when, according to Google Maps, it would open.

I went to Namba City, in part to kill time, and in part to do quick location scouting since it had been a hot minute since I last went there. Then I went to the Taito Arcade to meet up with the others… and then I realized that I went to the WRONG Taito Arcade.
Then we headed to the bar and it was Closed.
Google Lied.
Again.
The funny thing is that we took time to not arrive at exactly 7 to not be like… waiting for it to open and stuff, and we still ended up doing that.

It was fun though, although shockingly I ended up less buzzed than yesterday. I did have an extra drink at the sushi restaurant before going to the bar, but I’m also pretty sure I had more drinks at the bar today than yesterday so it makes me wonder about just how strong the drink at the restaurant was.
…I did also have a Heineken though. Yesterday, I mean.
V’s friend had to leave early because of trains so we were left there. The bartender offered Karaoke so we started yelling into microphones until it was near time for the trains to stop.
There was a fun moment where she asked me if I knew Anime Songs, and if I knew Slam Dunk’s ending, and then she pointed to Sekai Ga Owaru Made Wa and let me tell you, it was a peak “this is my moment” moment.

V says she’s gonna miss the bar, and I might honestly go back next week for fun. People did start dropping in as we left though. Because we were doing the “before last train” sort of deal while they were there to kill time AFTER the trains stopped.
I got in a train that was gonna stop in Nakatsu (which is two stations away from my house). I also had an online therapy session I almost forgot. So I dropped from the train one station early and decided to have the session while I walked home since from my own estimates it’s roughly an hour walking there.
Which it was! Shockingly, having the session while walking was oddly effective. I already pace about a lot while on the phone for that so it makes sense.

Tomorrow is V’s birthday which is like… at least one third of the thing we’ve been building up to. So I’m looking forwards to that.
