Today’s deck is the Arcanis Animal Tarot.

The illustrations are great. Not my thing, but great.
Today’s reading has a very strong undercurrent of hesitation about sadness and pain. I can think of a few things that relates to, but it’s kinda funny how insistent on the indecision part it got.

V was on her way out of the country (not without another day in-between first, though) but I had one more meetup with a friend today. Someone else that decided to travel to the country around this time and our schedules didn’t quite align until today.
My original plan was going to Kobe, but since he already went to Kobe, I decided to show him Minoh Kayano Station instead so he saw something new.
Funnily enough, the rest of his group went for a hike at Minoh Falls.

Since there wasn’t much to do I decided to take our asses to Lalaport in Banpakukinen Koen to “See the Gundam” and that’s how I learned that the Lalaport Gundam was taken down in 2023…
We had a drink at JS Burger (it wasn’t quite lunch time) and we just chatted for a while.
I brought up something that I was thinking about a while back. I was talking about how good or bad rep spreads in industries and circles and there’s an interesting thing at play.
While everyone always talks about the logistics of “why did nobody talk about this asshole if they were so well-known as an asshole?” (which can range from power dynamics to people jus preferring to move on instead of dwelling in a bad experience), people don’t talk enough about how far a good reputation also goes.
Like, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve felt reassured or even proud when I tell party A that I’m working with Party B and their reaction is basically “Hell yeah! You’re in good hands” and 99% of the time I AM in good hands and I join the chorus.
I’d even argue that a good rep spreads faster than a bad rep. while sure, human brain has negativity bias as a survival instinct, it also has a normalcy bias that tries to push away the bad to go back the status quo. So praising others tends to flow out with way less trouble.

My friend and I parted way kinda early and I decided I should take the chance to catch up with chores and whatnot.
…so of course I decided to play Custom Order Maid 3D2.5 for hours.
Oops.
