It was a nice adventure, this one.
Today’s reading reflects a wish to open up emotionally but also afraid that doing that might ruin things.
I mean no need to be so mean about it, but yeah…
I did everything I wanted, from photos to even playing around with the drone, and yet I still feel a bit like I left some unfinished business…
If I had to guess it’s because of the weird situation where there was little to no shade. Not even the fact that I had to move around with cabs, mind you, but the fact that whenever the heat inevitably got to me, I had little to no shelter available. Very few roofs and even the trees were all confined to overgrowth meaning I couldn’t get into their shade.
But when I look at the photos and whatnot I’m content and satisfied so that’s what matters.
I had plenty of time to ponder about this because the flight got delayed like three times. I was originally leaving at 10AM or so and by the time the plane actually went out it was 12:30.
But anyways, I took the chance to explore the airport. It’s small but last time I was here at like 6AM so everything was closed.
I was shocked that ONLY NOW I found Chiikawa merch because Regional Chiikawas are one of those souvenirs I always keep an eye on.
Also one of the shops had these shot glasses.
Between that, a brand of chinsuko called Chinko Suko and the pork snacl with a buff pork man on it, Okinawa is oddly horny but in a very specific way…
The flight went smoothly, I just dissociated for the two hours it lasted but also the landing was… shaky to say the least. And the combo of that and then the cab home left me in a very Not Ideal State.
There was some packages I had to wait for, though, so I went straight into the office to work for a bit and wait for that.
A good way to reattune to reality if nothing else.
