Today’s deck is The Ghost Tarot.

Could’ve sworn I already used this one. Regardless, it’s cool and I like how it has many facets of death like loss instead of just being a Spooky Ghost Deck.
Today’s reading em´phasizes that prosperity will come with some self-confidence.

There’s a neo-traditional (meaning it’s made in the same vein as traditional stuff but was made in more contemporary times) song from Venezuela called La Pulga y El Piojo (“the Flea and The Tick”) by a band called Serenata Guayanesa.
The concept of the song is kinda aesop-like, where the flea and the tick want to get married but something’s missing, cut to some other animal or creature offering to chime in with the thing.
So they can’t get married because there’s no bread, they solve the bread but now they’re missing wine. By the end they’ve had their wedding, everyone’s napping the food stupor and then the best woman (a cat) eats the best man (a mouse).
The song is super fun but it’s also become a bit of a cultural shorthand for whenever shit just keeps happening, which, as a Venezuelan, is gonna happen a lot.
Ya no es por el pan que ya lo tenemos, ahora es el vino ¿Donde lo hallaremos?.
Well, it sure came to mind today as the ailments Continue.
So far I’ve gone from scare-level throat pain, to mild throat pain with I’m Gonna Fucking Die Syndrome, and today the trend continues with allergies kicking my ass.
There’s a few candidates for what fucked me up this bad that range from me lifting dust while packing up to summer grasses’ pollen kicking my ass to a freak accident.
Regardless of the reason, I spent all fucking day sneezing like a motherfucker with my nose congested but like hell that’s gonna stop me.
Stuffy nose and all I economized some of my luggage. Big things like leaving some stuff behind and small things like taking a prime lens with me instead of my usual Big Lens.
I also went to Evil today and it had been a while since I last went so there was a bunch of catching up to do.
On the whole the day was great! Almost makes me not mind the stuffy nose not letting me sleep.

Almost.
