Today’s reading talks about getting away with doing something for me, which is the trend of today as it turns out.
You see, I woke up with the rare work email that’s good. Not a dry NDA, not a random proposal, but the sort of “hey let’s make a thing” kind.
I wonder sometimes how desperate I come across in those messages, where it’s like “YES, PLEASE, LET’S DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN SIGN FUCKING PAPERS I BEG YOU”.
Not only that but going out I pet one of the strays in the area? What a day man, and it just started.
I felt in such good spirits, in fact, that I decided to go to the airsoft cafe and have some fun.
I was originally feeling like testing this Patriot, but sadly it’s one of the battery-powered ones and I didn’t have charged batteries, so I packed two of the air-powered handguns instead.
OF COURSE turns out the place closes on Wednesdays so I couldn’t do the thing, but it says a lot that I didn’t feel like this bummed me out.
In fact, I had decided to treat myself today so I got into the Uma Musume blog and started writing the 100th post. Sadly the body is weak and I had to sleep but I had the ball rolling and I didn’t intend to stop.
100th and 300th, that’s the sort of timing that wouldn’t happen on purpose if I TRIED.
