Hey ghosts it’s me ya boy.
Today’s reading invites to consider new perspectives when faced with feeling stuck in the way things used to be.

With how ass backwards my sleep schedule has been, I had puhlenty of time before I had to leave even when the Shinkansen was at like 6AM.
As a reminder, the route is gonna be: Shinkansen to Hakata, then Hakata Airport.
I had my backpack sorted with a couple of loose ends I forgot, main idea being that the loose ends are all things that can pass by security without an issue.

When the time came to leave I bought a couple of apple pies from a conbini and a bunch of hash potatoes from McDonald’s.

The train ride went smooth, I was sitting besides a woman and her dog in a kennel. It was all pretty calm, but the only complaint I have was the one time I had to use the bathroom so I had to vault over the kennel.

It had been a hot minute since I was in Hakata, and even when I went for my birthday two years ago I ended up not hanging out much in the Hakata Station area.

I faffed about waiting for shops to open so I could get a meal and then every restaurant was packed to the gills. So I explored around and I did see a Nintendo shop with Mario propelling himself with a stream of cum.

I wasn’t gonna spend money there but they had a Tears Of The Kingdom magatama set and I am Weak to Magatamas.
On the whole, it was a lovely shop and if I was a kid I would’ve lost my shit… mind you that part of me isn’t gone, Nintendo just isn’t the thing that stirs it up.

After that diversion and a quick stop by the local Yodobashi Camera I gave up on finding restaurants here and went to the airport since I figured if nothing else people have places to be and I won’t have to wait long in the restaurant.

Shockingly, Hakata Airport is just two stops away, or roughly 10 minutes by train.

After passing by the observatory, I had some sashimi at a shop. The other sashimi sets looked so good, too bad they were for two people… they also had a Whole Ass Squid.

I pass through security and try one of the massage chairs. Funnily enough, this one is one you pay with online payments like paypay instead of using coins for some reason.

Boarding time came, they put us in a bus and the plane is suuuuuper small with fan-like turbines. I forget the name in English but in Spanish we call them Avioneta.

Around this time turns out Mandalore released a video after like three months of silence on Bioshock and spoilers: It entertained me literally all the way until the hotel.

After a quick flight where I feel like we waited for takeoff longer than we waited flying, turns out Tsushima airport is super small. Like, I thought Miyakojima’s airport was small but this one takes that spot.

There’s also a wild cat mascot everywhere for some reason.

One taxi trip later I was at the hotel and my room was… off the main building and into a unit that looks like an old apartment unit.

Also my luggage isn’t there, so I go back and it was waiting for me in the lobby. By the way, the hotel is so old that the pictures in the room devolved into being Extremely Blue from sunbleaching.

I unpack, turn on the AC and lay in bed.
