Today’s deck is the Vivid Spirit Tarot.
I’m guessing the idea is that the green creatures in the deck are the vivid spirits in question. If so, it’s super neat.
Today’s reading is advising that, as usual, I’m overthinking things with other people and there’s no crisis I’m not aware of or anything like that.
They came to check the smoke detectors. It didn’t wake me up but my apartment shares a wall with the building’s conference room and the Janitor’s room so I can hear whenever it’s the season of checking that.
What this means in practice is that I had to wait until it happened which was tough because the day was actually kinda nice today.
But after that was done I took went to get a new pair of pants and a belt just as an excuse to go out for a bit. I didn’t NEED new pants but I did KINDA need a new belt, actually. I like using the kind where it’s like a woven mesh so it doesn’t have specific holes, and predictably, given enough time they end up stretching too much.
I also tried the wax seal stuff and it was super fun.
I’ve followed a couple of insta accounts that do this sort of thing for years and I was actually shocked at how much of seeing the thing translated into doing the thing.
First attempt wasn’t perfect though, the seals kinda bent a little and also I pressed just enough that a little bit more pressure would’ve been a problem.
The biggest surprise is how resilient the wax itself is, though. I imagined something like a candle but it’s more resilient than that.
Of course it’s weak to fire, but whomst amongst ust isn’t.
